DESCRIPTION
SY-551 phenolic resin is a heat-reactive, alky phenolic resin which is designed primarily for use in the formulation of polychloroprene-based contact adhesives. SY-551 imparts low initial viscosity and excellent viscosity-stability to adhesives of this type. In adhesives based on polychloroprene, SY-551 phenolic resin gives good bond strengths, both at room and elevated temperatures.
